Kings Flounder in Basement As Owner Brock Frost Misses Another Candidates Debate by Jamie Gilcig UPDATED

brock frost SUBMCORNWALL Ontario – Maybe it’s the carnival atmosphere created by new owner Brock Frost or maybe the Hockey Gods simply are not shining, but this year’s Cornwall River Kings find them selves dead last in the LNAH in the early going of the season.

New owner Brock Frost, who’s also running for council; but has not spoken at a single event after complaining about sleep and stress issues, seemed more focus on his River Queens than his players, discounting his roster and fans being on the hook for a limp offering so far in the season.

The Kings sport a 1-3 record with 14 goals for and league leading 186 shots against!  Clearly in hockey you get better results when you shoot more than when you’re shot upon.  They also lead the LNAH with a whopping -11 goal differential.

The team is 2-36 on the Power play; 10% worse than the next sad sack in the league.  It’s penalty kill, at 67% is also league worst.

Mr. Frost answered questions from his stated sleep clinic study where he again refused to categorically state that he’d personally guarantee season ticket holders refunds in the event that the team for any reason didn’t finish the season on his watch, as some in the city suggest that Mr. Frost bought the team as a stunt to help get him elected to council.  Mr. Frost, who recently posted that he had 31 straight hours of sleep has stated that he’s been diagnosed with Mini Stroke symptoms which the esteemed Mayo Clinic out line possible life style issues that could trigger them including Smoking, drinking, birth control pills, lack of exercise and abuse of drugs like cocaine.  He also stated that he somehow left the Library debate, was rushed by ambulance to the hospital and was released and returned right as rain before the end of the debate in less than 90 minutes.

Fan fave Chris Cloutier has 25 penalty minutes as he chases his total of 277 last season.

What do you think River King fans?  Can the team turn it around?  Should the team dress the River Queens instead of some of the current roster?

Are there any other promotions that Frosty the Snowman can run to spur success?   You can post your comments below.

UPDATE

CFN has confirmed that the sleep clinic that Mr. Frost referred to on facebook does not offer 3 day 2 night testing and that there is a six to eight week wait for any testing.   Mr. Frost has not returned our query asking him to prove his public statements.

POLICE LOOKING FOR A PICK-UP TRUCK ON THE OTTAWA RIVER – FOLLOW-UP

(Hawkesbury, ON) The Hawkesbury OPP detachment has been investigating an incident of a truck that apparently went through the ice somewhere between Wendover and Clarence Point in the early morning of Friday February 20th.

An unknown man tried to get the service of a towing earlier that morning claiming that he had ventured onto the Ottawa River with his vehicle using the Wendover boat dock. The man related to the tow truck company that his Ford F-150 had gone through the ice somewhere between Clarence Point and Wendover.  There were apparently 2 men involved who made it out of the submerged truck unscathed.  The caller told the tow truck company that they were looking for  an ice fishing hut to warm up as they were soaked.

The temperature that morning was around -25 degrees Celsius with the wind chill of -40 C.

Officers from the Russell County and Hawkesbury detachments responded to the call.

The Russell and Hawkesbury OPP detachments including the Emergency Response Team searched for the vehicle, driver and passenger.  The OPP Aviation Services, the Papineauville detachment of the Québec Provincial Police and Alfred-Plantagenet fire department also assisted in the search to no avail.

The search was called off at 2pm as all resources available were utilized but unsuccessful.

The man who called spoke English with a French accent.

If you have seen these persons or know the location of the submerged truck, or have any other information about this matter, please call the Hawkesbury O.P.P. at 613-632-2729 or 1-888-310-1122.

TEXT MESSAGES – THE CAUSE OF MANY BREACHES

(Hawkesbury, ON) The Hawkesbury OPP would like to advise members of the public that texting can be costly.  It was noticed that many incidents involving threats and breaches of court conditions were occurring via texting.

The message being perceived by those charged is that texting does not seem to be a real means of  communication.   Some think that messages sent via phones of other multimedia devices do not have consequences.  Some have been found to be “braver” behind a phone or keyboard and have sent out things they would never communicate in person.

The Hawkesbury OPP wishes to inform the public that texting or communicating by any other electronic means is just like conversing in person.  Someone using texts or emails to communicate a threat to a person is committing a crime. Those having court conditions prohibiting communication with someone else and who texts or e-mails that person, is committing a crime. Officers investigating these types of infractions will lay criminal charges where those found guilty may face great consequences.

The Hawkesbury OPP Detachment will be cracking down on such texts or e-mails.  Whether it be during investigations, or during crime abatement checks, criminal messages will be treated seriously and thoroughly probed where those found in contravention will be charged.

Please think before you post or text.

The boxes were all opened where plywood was found instead of a laptop computer.

The OPP Identification Unit assisted in the investigation led by Constable Eddy Saardi.

Police believe that there might be more boxes out there.  If you are approached by an individual trying to sell MacBooks or if you find some for sale online, please be weary.  Take in as much information on the suspect as possible and please contact your local police service.

If you have any other information about this matter, please call Constable Eddy Saardi at the Hawkesbury O.P.P. at 613-632-2729 or 1-888-310-1122.

The matter is under investigation by Constable Pascal Boudreau. If you have any other information about this matter, please call Constable Boudreau at the Hawkesbury O.P.P. at 613-632-2729 or 1-888-310-1122.

CORNWALL Ontario – What an odd week in Cornwall.  First photog Robert Rusaw gets a million dollars worth of news coverage for the Ottawa Bluesfest after deciding Confederate Flag shorts are a fashion statement.

The photog was snapped and became a news story and topic of discussion for thousands including a local facebook hate group run by a convicted criminal pictured below wearing, you guessed it, a Confederate flag cap.

dockery rebel flag

The criminal also defended Rusaw and also had the flag waving on his mobile home in Bonville at one point.

crowder nazi flag

Mike Crowder, who was fired for leaking medical info at the hospital he worked for while Mike Duffy was a patient, has no problem with flying a Nazi flag, but darn those neighbors that run their lawn mowers at 11AM while he’s sleeping.

The first incarnation of the group was taken down for racism only to be rebooted by its founder within 24 hours.

Oddly enough Bernadette Clement’s(a visible minority herself)  riding association president, Jamie Labonte is an active member of the group.

I’m sure it must make Justin Trudeau proud.

The argument defending the Confederate flag is a really silly one.   I get that people don’t like to be told what to wear or do, but in this world there are things that become symbols for hate and evil.    They really are.    The Swasika was not invented by the Nazi’s, but they sure own the brand.   It is the ideals around some of these icons that inspire the weak and stupid, the sad cases where desperate people do desperate things after being inspired by such hate and evil.

Mr. Rusaw and his supporters clearly are not apologetic regarding his action or the flag with one member citing “conservative and country” idealism.

Now that’s a group that could be used to inspire tourism and economic development.

Brock Frost Council DEC 8 2014Now to our good Councilor Robert Brock Frost.   I won’t show the video he’s launched as other media outlets have because frankly I don’t wish to give him the exposure of CFN’s audience.

Arson    British Spy

Extortion  Hells Angels

Money Laundering  Illegitimate Father

Insurance Fraud  Tax Evasion

Embezzlement STD’s

Cocaine Dealer  Cocaine Smuggler

Human Trafficker Statutory Rape

Election Tampering Election Fraud

Fugitive Bankrupt

Drug Addict Loan Shark

Ex Con False identity

Brock in his video says that these are what people have said about him and more.    He deserves an award for having such a diversity of alleged sins.

What we do know is that Councilor Frost is a convicted criminal for his DUI.

We do no that his criminal lawyer offered Al Hatset, a real estate victim of his, a deal to settle a Nicaraguan Real Estate Deal.

We do know that he’s consistently lied about his affairs and admitted such lies such as his Quebec charges.

Mr. Frost at this point shouldn’t illicit much sympathy; yet here he is wanting to become the poster boy for victims of lies when he himself has participated and perpetuated such defamation.

He did in fact issue a press release for example stating that this writer made sexual advances so horrific that he couldn’t repeat them.   He failed to mention that at that meeting at the Grind he still bought a large ad deal and shortly after sponsored our 5th Anniversary event at CFN which he also appeared at and was captured on video.

He also lied about me showing up to council with a group to “beat him up” and then show up at his house.

Luckily for myself the police this time didn’t charge me, but a Justice of the Peace did grant him a hearing to gain a restraining order which was subsequently dropped and never enforced although I did have a drug officer lean on me to not do my job as a journalist and ask Mr. Frost questions via email as well as the court costs in defending the ridiculous claims.   (The gang btw was a retired CBSA officer, a minister attending council, and Rodney Rivette)

While his facebook friends like Gilles Latour, Sue Stewart, & Kevin Hargreaves may stand behind Mr. Frost what he has clearly done is not something that should illicit him any sympathy.    I mean if you can’t take the heat you get out of the kitchen, right?  Or move to Ottawa…

Brock Frost sponsoring a group for victims of defamation is like a rapist sponsoring a women’s shelter.

It’s an insult to the true victims of what goes on on the wild web in 2015.

This all comes down to the Cornwall brand and what we send as a message to the outside world.

Not one councilor or the mayor has asked Mr. Frost to step aside until his legal wranglings are cleared up.

Not one councilor or the mayor have demanded that Mr. Frost be stripped of his committees until he’s cleared.

It’s really odd how someone like Frost is still publicly supported after the things he clearly has done or how he amassed over 4,000 votes in the municipal election.  At this pace he’ll be mayor in 2018…..

Final note.  I like Dan Allaire, but what he wrote on the radio station’s website shows the Cornwall Culture and what needs to change.

“Let’s look forward. Let’s get back to the task at hand, let’s deal with city issues and ideas to improve this great city we live in. This video could have been just that…letting the constituents who voted for him know that he is committed and is ready to get back to work and put all that behind him.”

Dan the only way to move forward is to hold people accountable for the wrongs and send the right message to the community.   People have to know that there is some price to pay for behaving like Brock Frost.

Did Brock Frost Donate His Council Cash to Local Charities as He Promised? UPDATE by Jamie Gilcig SEPT 23, 2015

What do you get when you mix a real estate guy who makes a client’s near $700K disappear, uses forged documents to get a local hockey team, hustles a boob to mortgage his house, and get caught lying a few more times?

Cornwall City Councilor Brock Frost who took time from kissing babies during his council run to promise to donate his full council honourarim to two local charities.

However neither charity has confirmed that he paid in full as promised.

The first up was our amazing hospice who are first refused to answer due to privacy issues.

I asked their rep that with Mr. Frost posing with a big cheque that perhaps that baby was already out with the bath water?

Mr. Frost had stated that he was giving half up front to the hospice and the second half would go to CAS.  (as if we don’t give them enough public dollars already!)

Question to the Hospice folks:

Hi XXXXX,

I called last week, but have yet to receive a response.  We are trying to confirm if Councilor Brock Frost did in fact make his full declared cash donationto you folks as per the news item published on your website?

Cheers and thanks,

Eventual answer:
All I  will say is that we received money from him but cannot disclose the amount.
So I asked  a similar question of Kimly Thieverge over at CAS and her answer was?

Hi Jaime,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

Brock and CAS have come to an agreement on this and both parties are satisfied with the outcome.

Thanks

Can you imagine being in PR and getting a name wrong?    I followed up with the obvious question as my initial one was a yes or no type, but Kimly seems to be too busy to respond.

Frost of late also has started an organization to fight defamation while he himself is being sued for defamation after issing not one, but two press releases clearly defaming yours truly including making a statement that he was hoping to be widely published that I’d made sexual advances on his person at a sales meeting which he neglected in his statement to say that resulted in him making a large purchase.

Clearly all this makes Frost a front runner to run for mayor of Cornwall in 2018   :)

A former  Cornwall River Queen who allegedly was dumped by the former Owner claims that disgraced fraudster Robert Brock Frost, or Rob Frost, or RB Frost, offered her cocaine and used some in her presence.

No I never dated him, I went out to eat with him a few times .. To talk about the river kings and queens… And like he would just try to get me to stay with him and .. I only ended up having one photo shoot with the girls and he was always leaving me in the dark about everything so I was confused …

The young woman, who stated she was only 18 at the time and no longer lives in Cornwall further stated to CFN:

and then when we got there he went to his room and gave me a beer and I sat down and he laid down and he tried to get me to cuddle with him and like stuff but I was creeped out because I’m only 18. And I asked him if we can just go back for a drive and then he ended up driving me straight home and on the way he said he doesent think he could have me working on his team.. And that it wasn’t personal

CFN

Where there any drugs present?

FORMER RIVER QUEEN

Yea he always did a lot of cocaine.

CFN

Did you see any at his home? Did he offer you any?

And how did you know it was cocaine?

FORMER RIVER QUEEN

Because he bought it from someone I’m really good friends with..

CFN

Did he offer you drugs?

FORMER RIVER QUEEN

Yes, I don’t so drugs tho

CFN

No crime in that.

FORMER RIVER QUEEN

But there is if he’s doing drugs in the back room (of a bar)

Frost resigned from council amidst his forgery and fraud pleading over the River Kings sale.   He did not respond for this story.

CFN is in the process of researching claims that Mr. Frost indulged in similar actions with other River Queens including a few that were under age.

None of these allegations have been proven to be true at this time.
